The channel that never goes dark
There's a live Warbirds channel running around the clock — a real match, always on. It used to blink out overnight now and then while nobody was watching. It doesn't anymore. Drop by whenever you like and there's a fight on.
The one gap, closed
The 24/7 channel has been up for a while — a camera chasing dogfights around the map, all day, every day. But it had a flaw that only ever showed up when nobody was looking: a couple of times the channel went dark overnight and stayed dark until someone noticed the next morning. The fight was still going the whole time. You just couldn't watch it.
Those dark stretches were exactly the wrong ones to lose — the odd hours when a curious visitor drops by, finds nothing, and leaves thinking the game is dead. So we closed the gap.
It puts itself back on the air
Now the channel watches itself. The moment it notices it has slipped off the air, it relights — and it's back showing the live match within moments, not hours. There's no one waiting to flip a switch anymore, because the channel flips its own. If you tune in at 4am, the fight is there, same as noon.
An always-on channel is only worth anything if it's actually always on. Now it is — every hour of every day, there's a real Warbirds match waiting on the other end.
Why it matters
The whole point of the channel is that you can see the game before you play it: a few minutes of real dogfights, ships, and bombing runs, any time you're curious. A channel that's live except for the hours you happen to check isn't worth much. This one is live for all of them. Tune in whenever — there's always a fight on, and you're one click from being in it.
